Veterans Bus Shuttle Service
HCPCT2 Transportation Division offers Veterans free transport services to and from the Veterans Hospital North and South.
- Veterans can call Monday – Friday from 7AM to 3PM to schedule a ride.
- There are multiple pickup locations and callers will be informed on which pickup location works best for them.
- Each location has two pickup times. The pickup location and time will be discussed during scheduling.
- Veterans requiring wheelchair assistance and/or if a family member or provider will be riding with them must mention this requirement during scheduling.
All veterans must call 311 at least two days or earlier prior to the appointment date to schedule a pickup. Veterans can call 311 as soon as they know that they will need a ride, but no less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment at the DeBakey Hospital.
Healthcare Support
We assist veterans in completing their applications for healthcare from the VA and CHAMP VA if they qualify for it. We also make referrals, as needed, to service providers and clinics.

The Precinct 2 Veterans Services Department is committed to serving veterans, their dependents, and surviving family members. Our goal is to help improve quality of life and provide clear, compassionate guidance every step of the way.
Walk-ins are welcome Wednesday and Friday from 8AM to 12PM at V.V. Ramsey Veterans Center, 16003 Lorenzo Street, Channelview, TX 77530. All other times are by appointment only.
