Free Transportation Services
We offer free transportation for seniors, veterans, and individuals living with disabilities to help them access essential services, appointments, and community resources with ease and dignity.
For Seniors Only
55+ Excursion Program
- Monthly day and evening trips to cultural, entertainment, and dining destinations
- Trips include one group leader and up to one caregiver or activity director
- Riders must be age 55+ (no children or unaccompanied adults under 20 permitted)
Senior Day Trips and Shuttles
- Thursday Trips: Reserved for PCT2 Community Center Senior Groups
- Monday–Wednesday & Friday–Sunday: Open to specialty and independent senior groups

Transportation Voucher Program (TVP)
- In partnership with Harris County RIDES, seniors 65+ can receive vouchers to help with transportation outside the metro area — giving you more independence, without the barrier of distance.
For Veterans
For veterans and their family members living within specific areas of Precinct 2 can access free transportation to and from:
- Houston VA Medical Center
- VA Regional Office
For Those Living with Disabilities
Access2Rides Voucher Program (ages 18 and older)
The Access2Rides voucher program provides free transportation for seniors and individuals with disabilities to and from medical appointments. Funded through grants and built for flexibility, it ensures no one misses the care they need because of mobility or access challenges.
