East Houston faces some of the worst health disparities of the region including high rates of chronic disease, cancer clusters, and uninsured individuals.
Our Access2Health programs offer free or low-cost health and social services including community health screenings, wellness education, family health services, and mental health services. Services are available to all community members with no insurance or citizenship requirements. Through collaboration with local agencies, we provide a range of programs to bring healthcare directly to the community.

Channelview Wellness Pod Complex
Clinical services and preventive healthcare that includes Primary Care, Women’s Health and Psychiatry/Mental Health. These services are geared to improve the access to quality healthcare, address the high rates of chronic disease and the cancer clusters, and create a proactive culture of health within the underserved community of Harris County Precinct 2.Access2Health Bus
Free health screenings and low-to-no-cost immunizations provided by our community partners grant convenient access to high quality care on-the-go.
Access2Health Kiosks
Stay healthy by checking and tracking your numbers. At one of our conveniently located health kiosks you can check your blood pressure, pulse, oxygen level, and weight.
Health Events and Education Programs
Free health screenings, immunizations, and health education classes help make it more convenient and easier to access high quality care.
Common Market
First come, first served farm fresh, locally sourced produced boxes are distributed to Precinct 2 residents. Each box contains 10 to 15 pounds of fresh, in-season produce.
