Empowering Our Communities—Together

Founded in 1975 as a dedicated program to support the senior citizens of East Harris County, Precinct2gether has grown into a vibrant nonprofit committed to serving the diverse communities of Harris County Precinct 2. Over nearly five decades, our core mission has remained steadfast: to uplift, empower, and bring hope to every resident we serve.
As we celebrate 45 years of making a difference, we continue to evolve to meet the changing needs of our community. From growing families and shifting challenges to new opportunities, Precinct2gether responds with programs that reflect the heart of our precinct—its people. Today, our initiatives span early childhood education, youth leadership development, workforce training, senior services, veteran support, community health, and more.

We are proud to work closely with the sitting Commissioner of Precinct 2 to deliver impactful services that truly make a lasting difference. Our partnership ensures that our mission is more than just words—it’s a visible presence across every corner of Precinct 2. Whether through community centers, classrooms, parks, homes, or digital platforms, Precinct2gether is here listening, responding, and standing alongside the people we serve.
Our programs are driven by the belief that access is everything—access to opportunity, connection, support, and dignity. Whether helping a student discover their potential, a senior stay connected and active, or a veteran access vital resource, our goal is simple: to build stronger communities by investing in the people who call them home.
This is our story — and we’re just getting started.
1975: Precinct2gether, Inc. started as the East Harris County Senior Citizens program 1978: With the charitable purpose to serve the needs of seniors, it was granted tax-exempt status by the IRS as a nonprofit corporation Similarly, a few years later, the East Harris County Youth program was incorporated as a nonprofit. 2007: The two groups merged and broadened their purpose to serve veterans in addition to youth and seniors under the name of Precinct2gether, Inc.

Our Staff

At Precinct2gether, our dedicated team is the backbone of our organization, working tirelessly to create impactful programs, foster meaningful connections, and ensure that every individual we serve is supported and empowered. Each member of our team plays a crucial role in advancing our mission and making a difference in the lives of countless people in our community.

Chris leads a team of 183 who manage10 community centers, 55 parks, and over 3,500 acres of parkland. With over 28 years of experience in parks and recreation, he excels in facilities management, project management, and budget oversight. Chris has introduced innovative programs like the Grow Tower initiative, providing fresh vegetables to underserved seniors, and Agents of Discovery, an interactive application that enhances community engagement via smartphones. Chris is an alumnus of Leadership Houston Class XLII and is actively involved with TRAPS and NRPA park associations. He holds a Master’s in Park Administration and is committed to creating accessible, inclusive spaces. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, four children, and three grandchildren.

With over 17 years at Harris County Precinct 2, Chara has spearheaded programs for youth, seniors, and veterans, overseeing critical divisions such as Healthcare & Social Services. She established the county's first Health Services division within a precinct, earning national recognition for the Access2Health initiative, which provides screening and preventative care to residents. A licensed professional counselor supervisor and registered play therapist, Chara possesses over 20 years of mental health expertise. She is also actively engaged in community service, serving on various boards and committees dedicated to improving health outcomes for minorities.

Tiffany is a dynamic leader specializing in professional development, operational efficiency, and organizational culture. With experience at Fortune 500 companies such as Capital One, Samsung, and Verizon, she has effectively delivered consulting and training programs that enhance business outcomes. In her role at Precinct 2, Tiffany oversees financial operations, aligning grants, expenses, and revenue with community initiatives. She holds dual Master’s degrees in Management and Community Development from Prairie View A&M University and is dedicated to fostering sustainable community impact through strategic leadership and tailored programs.
