Seven major historic sites are being developed in Harris County Precinct Two, east Harris County to include scholarly documentation, official historic designation, monumentation, and medallion of historic significance and visitor amenity features appropriate for each such site. As a community asset of Precinct Two, all sites will be developed and maintained to a high standard.

The mission of Precinct2gether Project Stars is to develop a historic district in East Harris County to not only improve our image but also to encourage visitors and residents to remember our rich heritage.

PLAN OF ACTION:

• Establish a positive identity for Eastern Harris County.
  
  
• Highlight the historical significance of the East Side’s rich historical heritage through a broad communications program.
  
  
• Develop extensive quality of life enhancement projects including beautification, green space and related amenities.

Project Stars was launched as a long-term, multifaceted program to be implemented by multiple parties such as
